Dearest Reader,

As we pivot to an exciting new newsletter called “The Muslim Brew,” this is probably one of the last letters from the editor that you will get from me. While I have enjoyed writing these and updating you on the behind the scenes of everything TMJ, I believe a cutting edge, witty and exclusive newsletter is the way to go for our future. 

As we have stepped foot in all major social media platforms for over a year now, we know what kinds of stories get censored, and how it affects the shadowban. We are also privy to the many outlets that get suddenly removed once they hit a million followers, with no explanation whatsoever. We’ve talked about this before in our previous newsletters. This is why there are a lot of limitations on social media, with countries like Canada entirely banning Canadians from accessing news. Not only will a newsletter like TMJ’s ‘The Muslim Brew’ help eliminate all these challenges, it will create a sustainable model for our growth (albeit slow at first), give us an avenue to launch our merch storefront as well as create a space for exclusive content which Muslims in the West can turn to in order to help them make sense of the world.

‘The Muslim Brew’ will serve as a weekly online magazine with interesting news, exclusive articles, witty memes and everything you need to know to start your week with a bang. We hope that you will continue to support our endeavors and find the new venture enjoyable and beneficial. Thank you always for your support,
