Too Close to Home

What’s Brewing?

Things are hitting too close to home. We remember 6-year-old Wadea Al-Fayoume murdered in cold blood by the landlord, and then a man just fired at three Palestinian-American students wearing the Keffiyeh scarf around their necks in Vermont. There seems to be a common theme, where everyday Americans are turning on their televisions and constantly seeing and hearing Palestinians being dehumanized or called terrorists. Cue the theatrics and the propaganda that has already been debunked countless times (shall we start with the beheaded babies, or the genocidal language, or the fake bullets shown to Elon Musk in a baby’s crib?) it just takes the perfect storm for an attack to happen. And while the hateful actions of Americans attacking civilians based on what they hear is the reality on ground, the American government is doing quite the opposite. The House of Representatives is doing less representing and more of the “let’s do what AIPAC says,” with their latest “Israel’s right to exist” resolution. The resolution was passed 412-1, including the votes of AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), Ilhan Omar and so-called progressive socialists voting yes. The singular “no” came from a Republican Congressman, not because he doesn’t believe in Israel not existing, but because he felt the language of the resolution was dangerously conflating anti-semitism with anti-zionism.” The chokehold of Zionism on the US government is expansive and vital, which even the well-intentioned politician now understands. The system cannot be changed because the system always ends up “changing you.”

What to Look Out For

Releasing today is an article about the Gulf Monarchs and the reasons behind their silence as Israel continues its onslaught on Gaza now that the pause is over.

This weekend, we focus on highlighting Palestinian voices as the true spokespeople of the War on Gaza.

On Monday, we release part 1 of our ten part report series on Palestine and what you need to know from the very beginning.

Our narrative is in your hands could not be truer, and simpler. If you like our work and happen to have five bucks laying around (from that Starbucks coffee you’re boycotting) send us a gift on our fundraiser.

Good Riddance to Henry Kissinger

One of the world’s most notorious war criminals died on Wednesday at 100 years old. Henry Kissinger was the most revered American grand geopolitical strategist in the second half of the 20th century, but he was known for all the wrong reasons: war, destruction, and the deaths of millions of innocent people. As the architect of US efforts to contain the Soviet Union during the Cold War, Kissinger played a key role in the deaths of many different peoples, from Cambodia and Chile to Argentina and Bangladesh. While his legacy reeks of bloodshed and violence, Kissinger is yet another testament to the fact that America forever champions its state murderers.

Economy

Former JP Morgan Trader Chosen to Dollarize Argentina

While Argentinian economists are warning that dollarization is risky and that the government should prioritize other domestic reforms to fix the economy, Argentina’s president-elect, Javier Milei, went ahead and trusted Wall Street instead. He announced on Wednesday that he chose former JP Morgan trader Luis Caputo as the country’s economy minister, who has proposed a “shock therapy” for Argentina’s suffering economy. This includes ditching the peso for the US dollar, erasing the fiscal deficit, and closing the central bank. It looks like Argentina will be in for a real shock once it wakes up to realize its entire economy – and politics – is in US control.

Tech

Amazon Announces AI Chatbot

As the latest tech giant to implement an AI-powered chatbot, Amazon might have made a move that places it in competition with Microsoft and Google in innovating with AI technology. Amazon’s new bot, Q, was announced on Tuesday and is anticipated to make data analysis faster, create a more efficient customer experience, and help businesses maximize productivity. This new feature is expected to entice more companies to use its cloud computing services. We might just be witnessing the start to a global AI race, as apocalyptic as it sounds.

What You Need to Know

Elon Musk: Another Pawn in Israel’s Plan

X CEO Elon Musk met with Netanyahu in the illegal Israeli state on Monday after receiving continued backlash from the White House and other Zionist entities for “anti-semetic” content on his platform, and after a wave of advertisement withdrawals by corporate giants like Apple and IBM. That potentially cost X millions of dollars, and of course Musk had to make a PR visit to Netanyahu to assure him of his allegiance to the Israeli occupation. While Musk received intense backlash for this visit, it should not surprise anyone that this move was necessary to secure his position as a billionaire tycoon who owns a social media platform where people are revealing the true realities of the genocide taking place in Palestine.

News

What Else is Brewing?

  • So Henry Kissinger just died, at the age of 100, but not before leaving behind a legacy mired with war crimes and the blood of millions on his hands.

  • In another round of poorly planned propaganda, a journalist Yishai Cohen admitted that a recently published story about dead Israeli children and or babies “hung on laundry line” was false and that the “IDF spokesperson tricked me into doing it.”

  • Elon Musk has been on the news a lot lately, from going on an Israel “apology” tour to cursing at his blackmailers who want to pull ads from X, formerly Twitter, all while donning a necklace given to him in ‘Israel’ ofcourse, the most interesting one has to be the time he stood next to an alleged Israeli baby’s crib with what turns out to be filled with fake bullets. At this rate, we won’t be able to keep up with all these lies.

  • Students seem to be the ones running the country; at Columbia University students sat outside and disrupted Hillary Clinton’s class, “Inside the Situation Room.” We’d have to say Hillary now has a situation of her own.

  • From Mehdi Hasan’s show being canceled and many others who are suspended or sidelined, Yara Jamal seems to be another journalist casualty fired for her pro-Palestine views on CTV.

  • Iran’s Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Khamenei dropped some truths on how the agendas to divide the Muslims have all gone to waste as the narrative no longer stands at Sunni vs. Shia, rather “Submission” vs “Resistance.”

  • While it can be heartwarming to see released child prisoners reuniting with their families, Israeli Occupation Forces have been kidnapping more Palestinians to not only make up for their “losses” but to gain from them.

  • Yemen has the world on edge when they boldly declared war on Israel and have been watching over the Red Sea like a hawk. They even seized “Galaxy Leader” and have carried out a couple maritime attacks as well as missiles aimed right at the Israeli Regime. They did not, however, take credit for the latest tanker seizure which happened to be taken by Somalians. Shipping companies linked to the Israeli Regime such as Zim have been rerouting ships in face of difficulties, costing them millions in expenses.
