All bets are off...

What’s Brewing?

Is a ceasefire happening or is it not? That’s the question everyone’s been asking. Israel apparently “agreed” to a ceasefire, but that doesn’t really mean anything now does it. Palestinian Resistance has been calling the shots from day one, and they’ve said “that there is no agreement on the framework yet” and that “the Qatari statement is rushed and not true.” Shortly after the news of a potential ceasefire broke out, the senior Palestinian Resistance leader Osama Hamdan released a statement saying, “Until this moment, it is not possible to talk about reaching an agreement. We are still at the beginning, and there have been many attempts to reach an agreement, but the occupation has always obstructed them.” But, we are still seeing Palestinians returning to their (unlivable) homes that Israeli forces have leveled to the ground, and celebrating with joy at the thought of a potential ceasefire brewing. The resistance has reaffirmed that the negotiations should lead to a “complete cessation of aggression and the withdrawal of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip, the return of displaced people to their homes, lifting the siege, reconstruction, introduction of all life necessities and…” here’s the interesting part, “ achieving a serious and rewarding exchange deal.” The stage has been set and the deal is clear, establish a Palestinian state, expel the occupation forces, make Quds the capital, and establish the right to return in accordance with international law. While all this sounds plausible, the question is, is it far fetched? And what will the west do now in order to sabotage what direction the resistance forces are taking, with Yemen’s strikes on Israeli targets in “Eilat” or Umm Al Rashrash looming over them? All bets are off, especially on Israel.

“We get big family sized bags at Costco. We Americans are Spoiled.”

TMJ News hosted American trauma surgeon Adam Fahs at its studio, and heard from him what his harrowing journey to Gaza was like. Perhaps the most riveting part about his story was his ability to transport everyday Americans to Gaza’s lands because of his relatability and using language that Americans can understand.

Western Nations Defund UNRWA Following Israeli Allegations

A growing number of Western countries, including the US, have suspended funding to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinians, affecting the six million refugees it serves. This move comes after allegations by the Israeli regime that the organization has “terrorist” ties and that some of its staff were involved in the October 7th attacks. The Israeli occupation has previously called for the dismantling of UNRWA over the same allegations, which the Western world accepts without any evidence or proven record, at a time when millions of Palestinians are desperately in need of humanitarian aid to survive.

BRICS Shares in Global Economy Overtakes G7

With the addition of five new nations (Saudi Arabia, Iran, Ethiopia, Egypt, and the UAE), BRICS has officially overtaken the G7 in terms of global GDP. The group’s share in global output rose from 31% to 35% as of the end of 2023 based on purchasing power parity (PPP). The total BRICS population has now hit nearly 3.6 billion, almost half of the world’s population. The economic bloc is expected to lead over 40% of global crude oil production, and its goals for expansion are likely to further boost its economic gains in 2024.

First Human Receives “Telepathy” Brain Chip

Elon Musk’s famous Neuralink brain chip has officially been implanted into the first human patient following FDA approval, and he says the initial results are showing “promising neuron spike detection.” Musk announced that his first brain chip product would be called “Telepathy,” and will allow users to control their phone or computer with their thoughts. Musk is not the first to experiment with brain chips; his latest product is just one of many that are competing in the next phase of brain-computer interface (BCI) technology.

“Kibbutz Blinken”: Activists Camp in Front of Antony Blinken’s Home

For an entire week now, protesters across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia have set up an “Occupy Blinken” camp in front of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s home due to his “utter failure” in handling the situation in Gaza. The group held its first press conference yesterday, featuring remarks from former UN consultant Hazami Barmada, journalist and political analyst Laila El-Haddad, and former State Department official Josh Paul, who resigned over the US government’s mishandling of the situation in Gaza. The Occupy Blinken team has been urging Blinken to halt unconditional military aid to Israel everyday as he leaves his home, demanding that he pursues a permanent ceasefire.

What Else is Brewing?

  • More than 150 countries celebrate World Hijab Day in honor of Muslim women who cover as the 12th annual WHD conference took place yesterday online. The organization says their focus was on ensuring safety and awareness as crimes against Muslim women in the west continue to soar.

  • So hold up. A man who destroyed a Satanic idol wasn’t charged with destruction of public property, but a hate crime, suggesting that Satanism is now officially viewed as a religion and social group.” This is in stark contrast to the former White House advisor Stuart Seldowitz who publicly harassed halal street vendor in New York (threatened him with torture, said 4k plus Palestinian babies killed wasn’t enough) but was slapped with anti-bias training instead of a hate crime charge.

  • Indian authorities destroyed a 600-year-old mosque and leveled it the ground with no notice or approval. Caretakers of the mosque say this has been happening often, as mosques are being destroyed in order to build hindu temples.

  • Pakistani authorities seem to be curbing Imran Khan’s chances at the polls, adding years to his prison charges and extending the sentencing to ten years. A young aide in this party was also executed in broad daylight, suggesting that things are going to continue to get worse for the Pakistani nation as election time nears.

  • Ben Shapiro embarrassing himself with an AI altered puppy image to make it look like a mangled Israeli baby wasn’t enough, he publicly referred to the late pro-Palestinian human rights activist killed by an Israeli bulldozer while trying to protect someone’s home from demolition as an “idiot.” He didn’t stop there, in fact, he went further and called Rachel Corrie one of the “great idiots in history.” The audacity to speak ill of the dead…

What to Look Out For

ICJ's initial ruling had many people confused, with variety of opinions weighing in on whether the ruling was a good or bad thing. Analyst Batool Subeiti had a very different approach to all this, examining the ruling with a geopolitical backdrop. Watch her analysis in the latest Hard Truth interview.

While everyone has moved on from Epstein, what does his case really shed light on and what’s more in store, publishing today!

Part four of the TMJ All About Palestine guide is dropping tomorrow, but don’t stop there yet. There are 6 more parts left after that before we move on to another guide that chronicles every single thing that happened in this war. Someone has to keep track (because we obviously can’t trust mainstream media to do so).

Zionism and racism have a deep relationship, but exactly how deep? Stay tuned for Sarah Katib’s latest report on the shocking relationship between the two.

Can you solve this?

“It's red, blue, purple and green.

No one can reach it, not even the queen.”Reply with your guess. P.S: The answer to the last week’s riddle ‘I make two people out of one. What am I?’ is ‘A Mirror’. Had you guessed it right?
