US Capitol “Catching Fire”

What’s Brewing?

America is on fire. Almost every major city is burning with protests, historic paintings being slashed up of historical Zionist figures, disruptions happening to leading politicians as they give speeches, and Palestine is quickly gaining US public favor. But you wouldn't know these sentiments if you were following mainstream media, who seems to have a mass gag order on protests happening all over the US, especially among the military and veteran community. Student groups and young people are facing the greatest difficulties, seeing as they also could be the largest threat to the military industrial empire. Just this week, University of California Riverside chose to divest over a million dollars in student funds from companies linked to the Israeli government's policies in Occupied Palestine. As Congress mulls over banning TikTok (for now) and we inch closer to larger encroachments on the freedom of speech, it's more important than ever before to keep our eyes on the ball. In the hunger games style of throwing US aid in parachutes at the people of Gaza after bombing and destroying everything they had, it's just a matter of time that the people will have had enough and the US “Capitol” will be the one catching fire.

Countries Airdrop Aid to Gaza amid Famine Fears

As the Israeli regime continues to block vital aid from entering Gaza, severe food shortages have led to starvation and death as shocking images reveal the devastating extent of an ongoing humanitarian crisis. Several nations, including Jordan, the UAE, and Egypt have begun sending aid via airdrops, as the UN warns that Gazans are on the brink of famine. The US and France have also air-dropped aid, and Canada will follow suit soon —  but the Western double standard here is quite literally an atrocity.

Temu is Taking Over Meta and Google — And America

First it was Shein, and now Temu. Americans just can’t get enough of cheap, fast-fashion Chinese goods. But it turns out that the e-commerce company, which is now a potent force in American business, also pays off big time for Meta and Google. Temu’s parent company spent almost $2 billion in Meta ads last year, becoming its top advertiser by revenue in 2023. Even the Super Bowl spend couldn’t beat that.

Congress is Cracking Down on TikTok

US lawmakers have been concerned that Chinese-owned social media app TikTok can potentially surveil and manipulate Americans, and they want to shut it down. A bill that could lead to TikTok being unavailable in the US is quickly gaining traction in the House, and may soon come up for a full vote. Lawmakers hope it can be a bipartisan effort “to take on China, our largest geopolitical foe.”

What You Need to Know

Nikki Haley Quits US Presidential Race

After an embarrassing Super Tuesday loss, Nikki Haley suspended her presidential campaign and congratulated Donald Trump, who swept 14 out of the 15 states that held primaries. But that didn’t stop President Biden from calling on Haley’s supporters to join his campaign at a time when he’s facing heavy backlash for his handling of the war in Palestine, and as his own party questions his physical and mental standing for another presidency.

What Else is Brewing?

  • Israel once again refuses a ceasefire in Cairo due to the conditions set by the Palestinian Resistance for a permanent ceasefire. What's new.

  • Nikki Haley paved the way for a Trump comeback after suspending her campaign, but not before urging US voters to continue supporting Israeli. OK Nimarata.

  • Evidence indicates that the Resistance factions are hitting back at Israeli targets; dozens of rockets were fired by the Lebanese Resistance at an Israeli military base, Yemen Resistance strikes an Israeli vessel, and the Palestinian Resistance captures more than 20 IDF soldiers in a precise ambush.

Can you solve this?

“No matter how little or how much you use me, you change me every month. What am I?”Reply with your guess. P.S: The answer to the last week’s riddle ‘Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly?’ is ‘She fell off the bottom step’. Had you guessed it right?

Jummah Inspo

“It was in the month of Ramadan that the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind, clear messages giving guidance and distinguishing between right and wrong. So any one of you who is present that month should fast, and anyone who is ill or on a journey should make up for the lost days by fasting on other days later. God wants ease for you, not hardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him for having guided you, so that

you may be thankful.”
